Meet the Owner of Voyage Noire
Founder
Kaneshia, founded Voyage Noire in May 2023, after three years of being a tour group leader within a global travel group. Kaneshia has a successful career as an educator and school administrator. Her career as an educator mixed with her passion for learning about the African Diaspora and exploring the world has led her to follow her dreams in founding Voyage Noire and bringing the knowledge of African Diaspora to others.
Some countries Kaneshia has been to are Jamaica, Tanzania, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, and Colombia. During her time in each of these places she has sought to learn about the history, culture, and uniqueness of each place. Through her travels and trip planning Kaneshia builds community among other travel connoisseurs.
Kaneshia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Family Studies from Berry College. As well as, a Master’s in Science in Teaching from Fordham University and a Master’s in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary.
Kaneshia received a scholarship for the Teach With Love Global Leadership Summit in 2023.
